Your Master Craftsman, Gustaf Anders Rooth, coming at you with some scribblings about our functional artistry. At the Planet Rooth Design Haus we just recently launched our newly updated website at www.BarrellyMadeIt.com. We are excited to be moving forward in our quest by producing the highest quality Oak Barrel furniture, made exclusively from discarded Wine and Bourbon Barrels. We up-cycle these vessels and create a one-of-a-kind pieces of art furniture that will surely become an iconicly designed and collected line of furnishing that pleases not only the collector but one of our planets most valuable resources, Quercus, otherwise known as the Oak Tree.
Wine and Bourbon enthusiasts can relax in maximum comfort while knowing that they are helping replenish the earths gifts, while being eco-concious. Re-cycling is now a part of our daily lives and will continue to be embraced through all major manufacturers and producers of fine goods. Luxury items of today are rarely comprised of 100% reclaimed and up-cycled materials. We at Barrelly Made It have found and refined our recipe for an esthetically designed and beautiful chair, produced completely through the re-use and re-purposing oak barrels. Classic design, timeless in it’s beauty and ultimate comfort in its purpose.
We acquire all our barrels from the finest wineries and breweries through out San Diego and the California Coast, namely Napa Valley, Sonoma County as well as Paso Robles. Blending our unique design and craftsman skills with ecological thinking, we scour the region for the finest quality in our materials. Only the finest French Oak and American Oak are used. While we can boost about being a Green Thinking business, we are also proud that we go onsite, meet the vinters and brewers and get to know them and become a team! We do not compromise quality for quantity. Each and everyone of our fine art collectors knows that a lot of care and love go into each of the Barrelly Made It products.
So welcome aboard. Follow me as I travel, design, craft and embark on a journey through the world of up-cycling. There will be lots to write about and talk about…….thanks for reading, listening and watching as the BMI crew take the world by storm! All through re-purpose, re-claiming and re-using our beloved Oak Barrels.
Cheers!~
